The most valuable thing  you can offer someone with cancer is your time.

Could you provide a listening ear and signpost people to relevant services in our welcomeing, relaxing library spaces?

People affected by cancer often feel isolated, alone and unable to access the right information and support at the right time, so Fife Cultural Turst (ONFife) has partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support to ensure people affected by cancer can access high quality information and support in lbraries across Fife.

Volunteer-led drop-in sessions will be at the heart of the support we provide in our libraries, so by volunteering you'll help people affected by cancer in our local communities live as fully as they can.

You do not need to have a knowledge of cancer and/or a healthcare background. What we are looking for are empathetic people with a warm personality.
