Whether you're hosting a boardroom-style meeting, an intimate concert, or a full-blown theatre production, the Adam Smith Theatre is the ideal location for your event.

Whether you're planning a boardroom-style meeting, intimate concert,  full-blown theatre production or even a rock choir class, make sure you get in touch for a friendly chat about your requirements.

Our Main Auditorium is perfect for concerts, theatre productions, formal presentations and awards ceremonies. It seats 475 people in unobstructed, tiered seating and is fully-equipped with modern sound, lighting and projection equipment.

Function Suites

The Large Function Suite is suitable for use as a formal meeting or exhibition space, accommodating up to a maximum of 120 delegates. It is also an excellent choice for hosting workshops and classes, such as aerobics lessons.

The Small Function Suite is also suitable for use as a formal meeting space for up to 30 people boardroom-style, with a maximum capacity of 50.

Upstairs, the Beveridge Studio suite offers views across the neighbouring War Memorial Gardens and the skyline of eastern Kirkcaldy. It is suitable a formal meeting room for up to 170 people plus top table. The Beveridge Studio contains full light and sound equipment, making it an excellent space for hosting events such as a ceilidh, intimate concert or smaller-scale theatre production.

Extras

The foyer and café are also available for use as breakout areas for larger conferences and exhibitions.

We can provide a range of facilities in any of our spaces, including:

  • sound systems with roaming mics
  • a VGA projector
  • laptop
  • screen
  • flipchart and pens

Our café, situated within the building, will be happy to fulfil any catering requirements, from sandwiches or a buffet to full meals.
