We are delighted that as of Monday 26 April, we are now able to welcome you back inside Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries

Our Local Studies Service is also now reopened and you can now book a one-hour appointment online HERE. While restrictions are in place, we will be providing a tailored, one-to-one visitor service at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries. 

Limited Browsing in the library returns on Monday 26 April and will allow browsing within both our adults and childrens libraries, but with limited numbers of customers at one time and time spent in the building. You can select books, use public access PCs and other basic offerings such as photocopying, printing and collecting batteries for hearing aids. 

The Connect and Collect Service will still be available if you would like the library staff to pick a selection of books for you and you can pick up your bag of books from the door if you prefer.

If you still have borrowed books from our library at home, do not worry - we are waiving all late return fees due to the pandemic. Thank you for your patience and looking after our books.
