Libraries & Archives

Good News -  from Monday 26 April we are able to welcome you back inside OnFife Libraries

From 26 April, we are delighted to be welcoming back members into our Libraries.

Intially we will be able to offer a Limited Browsing service in many of our branches, which means a restricted number of people in the branch at any one time.  You can select books, use public access PCs and other basic offerings such as photocopying, printing and collecting hearing aids batteries.

Please check HERE to see the current opening times of our branches.

As you would expect, there will be safety measures in place to ensure the wellbeing of our staff and visitors and everyone must follow Scottish Government FACTS guidelines.

You can still use our Connect and Collect service.

Complete either an Adult Library Form or a Junior Library Form to place a Connect and Collect order now.  Alternatively you can phone a library and talk through what you would like with a member of staff. We will then put together a collection of up to 10 books for you to collect from the library door at a pre-arranged timeslot. See the library opening hours and phone numbers HERE.

There's also other great news! You can request books again from our online catalogue www.onfife.com/librarycatWe were busy buying some new stock while we were closed and it's ready to be delivered to our libraries. We can only take requests for books we have in stock at the moment, but if there's something we don't have that you'd like to see in stock, you can let us know and we'll consider it for next time we are buying.
You can make a request if you have your library card number and PIN.  Can't remember your card number or PIN?  Just contact your local library and one of our staff will help you out.
