We want all our visitors to have a comfortable theatre experience.
Rothes Halls is fully accessible, with:
- Accessible entrances and automatic doors.
- Induction loop in main auditoriums.
- Accessible adapted toilet facilities on ground and first floors.
- All floors of the venue accessible via a lift.
- Ample disabled parking spaces available in the adjacent car parks.
- Guide dogs welcome at all our venues.
We have 16 wheelchair spaces available in the main auditorium for our events. It would help us greatly if you booked for a space in advance. Please notify Box Office if you have any special requirements.

Children
Baby changing facilities are available on the ground floor. Rothes Halls supports breast feeding. If you wish to use a private area, please ask at reception. High chairs are available in the café.
Babe in Arms (under 2s)
Bring your baby with you (sitting on your knee) for FREE when attending films and many shows at our theatres. Just select an adult & baby ticket when booking your performance so we register attendance and we can then support you in our venues.
Please note the tickets will only be available for suitable performances and will exclude shows programmed specifically for that age group.

We are delighted that as of Tuesday 26 April, we are now able to welcome you back inside Rothes Halls Library.
To begin with we are offering a Limited Browsing service, which means a limited number of people in the library at any one time. You can select books, use public access PCs and other basic offerings such as photocopying, printing and collecting hearing aid batteries.
As you would expect, there will be safety measures in place and everyone must follow Scottish Government FACTS guidelines.
The Connect and Collect Service will still be available if you would like the library staff to pick a selection of books for you and you can pick up your bag of books from the door if you prefer. Please check HERE to see the current opening times of all our libraries.

Entertainment at Rothes Halls
When we made the decision to postpone last year, we did so fully expecting the uncertainty about indoor performances to have ended by spring. However, as this pandemic has shown us many times, there are factors that we can’t control. This is why we are planning for September but reviewing this again in June in line with Scottish Government guidance and its impact on capacity.
There is still lots going ON! For our Summer programme, alongside ShineOn Digital, we will be working with Fife Council, Fife Sports & Leisure and Fife Coast and Countryside to deliver a fun packed package of activities and experiences. More details coming soon.
Our Autumn Season focus from September will be ‘local’ – with a planned local return, by locals, for locals and with locals – and we are going to be working closely with all our amateur companies, who have been hit so badly during the pandemic, to try to achieve this.
Since lockdown began in March 2020, our Box Office team has been undertaking an enormous customer engagement programme which has seen us contact thousands of ticket-holders. As we move to reschedule the programme further, we would ask that you please bear with us while we get in touch by the dates of shows. If you are a customer whose event had already been rescheduled to before the end of the year we will be contacting you again to discuss options including credits, donations and refunds.

About Rothes Halls
Rothes Halls is an entertainment and conference venue located right in the centre of Glenrothes, adjoining the Kingdom Shopping Centre.
Its vibrant programme includes popular music, big-name comedy, drama, dance and children's shows. Uniquely in Fife, Rothes Halls can stage large-scale, site-specific theatre productions.
Our FifeSpace & FotoSpace visual arts galleries are located on the first floor and host new exhibitions every six weeks, ranging from nationally-recognised names to touring exhibitions and local artists' work.
We are now home to Fife's newest Escape Room, Cryptic Kingdom.
We are also one of Fife's premier conference venues, with excellent facilities available for hire at very competitive rates.
Our popular café serves hot and cold meals as well as snacks throughout the day.
