Art-tastic

While we are preparing for some of our museums to open on 26 April, St Andrews Museum will remain closed while building work are in progress. We will be open with our Art-astic exhibition as soon as we can!

Art-tastic is a family-friendly exhibition that tests the adage that a picture paints a thousand words. We invited budding writers of all ages to create stories and verse inspired by some 20 works of art. Some of the written pieces will be shared on social media and the artworks will be on display at St Andrews Museum. Works on show include paintings by L S Lowry - famed for his matchstick-like figures - the eminent 20th century artist Sir William MacTaggart and leading Arts and Crafts painter John Duncan.
