We are reopening the Archives Searchroom!

We are reopening the Archives searchroom in the Collections Centre at Bankhead from Wednesday 5th May. It is by appointment and visits are limited to 1.5 hours. You can make a booking by email to archive.enquiries@onfife.com

OnFife Archives looks after documents covering an incredible 500 years of Fife’s history - and that’s a lot of documents. Everyone has a history and did you know, we've got a bit of yours!

Our job is to preserve the records and help you to use them.
Did you know we spend a lot of our time cataloguing records, so you can find out what we have and how to find it? To protect them from daily wear and tear, we store the documents in acid free folders and boxes.
