Tutorials: Watercolour Painting and Making Journals

Local experts, Laura Rigby and Colin Joyce teach these online lessons. Colin shows you how to paint a coastal landscape with just three colours. With Laura, you'll learn to make your own journals from scratch, using recycled materials from around your home. These sessions were commissioned as part of the Fife Art Exhibition 2020 competition.

Walk On

Since our Walk On groups can’t get together in person, we’ve started virtual Walk Ons. If you'd like to join our virtual Walk ONs, email us at walkon@onfife.com

Fife in Lockdown

Our museums team is working with Fife communities to record their stories and experiences – creating a lasting record of this major moment in history that we’re living through. This permanent archive of personal experiences, diaries, drawings, photographs and other objects will be there for future generations to learn from and potentially for an exhibition in the coming years. Can you help? Either by way of taking a survey or by getting involved in donating items? To participate in the survey simply click HERE.  If you have material to contribute, please email lockdown@onfife.com - we would love to hear from you!

OnFife Cares

We’ve set up a new telephone call programme to get in touch with customers across our libraries, theatres and museums – letting them know we’re still here for them, even though our doors are currently closed. We’ll be updating them on the newest projects and activities that they can take part in; helping them set up RBDigital so they can keep reading if they have a tablet; and chatting about their favourite books, authors, shows and more… finding out how we can support them during these strange times.
