Join us in another OnFife Comedy Café – Online! While we can’t see live shows in person, this is the next best thing to enjoy a Friday night in with some live comedians streamed to your screen!

So, pour yourself a drink, grab some snacks, and settle down in the comfort of your own home – at only £5 per device, it certainly beats another night of Netflix!

The line-up for Friday 28 May includes some well-known and best loved names – compered by Raymond Mearns, who was described as “Exceptionally Funny and Cathartic” by The Scotsman, has been on the UK comedy circuit for years – performing at venues across the country, including very successful Fringe shows since 2011.

Then we have Chris Forbes - star of BBC’s Scot Squad and award-winning comedian. Chris is one of the most in demand comics in Scotland. As well as being a regular on the UK comedy circuit, Forbes has gigged all over the world and supported Kevin Bridges on tour.

Chris’s other TV credits include Jonathan Creek and Mountain Goats on BBC One and Only An Excuse on BBC Scotland. Forbes is a regular panellist on BBC Radio Scotland's award-winning satirical news quiz, Breaking the News.

Next we will see Krystal Evans, who has a flair for doing dark jokes in sarcastic tones. She was a finalist in the Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year Award, did tour support for Stewart Francis, and was featured on BBC's “Bad Influencer” and “The Comedy Underground”.

Then finally we will see MC Hammersmith who performs improvised hip hop comedy. He is a freestyle rapper – he raps spontaneously, unscripted, with absolutely no preparation. The lyrics and rhymes of his raps are 100% improvised and based entirely on audience suggestions.

He takes stories and suggestions from audience members, then raps about them at lightning speed. Mind-blowing, hilarious, and completely different every single time. He is the world’s leading gangsta rapper to ever emerge from the ghetto of middle-class white west London.
